Canadian Teen Buddy
Practice speaking English while making friends with a Canadian teen
Students enrolled for 2 weeks or longer will have the added bonus of being introduced to a Canadian Teen Buddy.
Our Canadian Teen Buddies will meet with students for 30 minutes each week for a fun and casual conversation.
Through speaking with a Canadian teen, students will learn to speak English more naturally by practicing using the idioms and slang that are commonly used by teenagers. Engaging with another teen means that students will feel more comfortable speaking and not be afraid to make mistakes.
It could be the start of a lifelong friendship!
Each day students will enjoy one hour of fun social activities that are geared towards having fun and making friends with other international students. Activities include: TikTok Creations, Photography, Art Classes, Games, Cooking, Video Editing, Zoomba, Yoga, and Conversation Club.
Every Friday afternoon ACCESS camp students will join a teacher on a Virtual tour of a Toronto area tourist site. Students will get a taste of what Toronto has to offer to visitors from around the world. Tours include: Niagara Falls, CN Tower, Centre Island, Toronto Zoo, and the University of Toronto.
The Perfect Balance Between Learning & Fun
Every week ACCESS camp students will experience engaging English lessons, learn new skills in our Speaking With Confidence & International Leadership workshops, practice speaking with their
Canadian Buddy, and take part in fun activities. They will also see and learn more about Toronto on our virtual tours.
