Come Have Fun in The Snow!

Welcome To ACCESS’ Winter English Camp

Experience the magic of winter in Toronto! Our Winter English Language Camp is designed for children & teens who want to improve their English ability, make friends from around the world, visit exciting tourist destinations, and participate in authentic & fun Canadian winter sports.

A True Canadian Experience

Participants attend morning English classes and take part in daily afternoon trips & activities around Toronto. Every afternoon we will head to a different tourist destination or try a fun Canadian winter sports activity. Trips & Activities have been specially chosen to introduce students to typical Canadian winter activities such as; skiing, snowboarding, dog sledding, snowshoeing, snow tubing, curling, and skating. Every Saturday students will join in exciting trips such as a full-day skiing & snowboarding, dog sledding, as well as a day-trip to Niagara Falls. Don’t worry if you haven’t tried some of these activities before. All activities will start off with a lesson, so you can feel comfortable giving it a try. Your teachers will be there to help you, and make sure you have fun too!

Classes

Daily English classes are dynamic and fun! Students will learn speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation & conversation skills. Teachers are experienced and engaging, and small classes mean lots of personal attention.

Make Friends From Around The World

ACCESS students come from a number of countries around the world including: Russia, Korea, Spain, Japan, Venezuela, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, and more.

Ages

Students aged 8 – 17 can participate. Those under the age of 13 years must be accompanied by a parent or adult chaperone.

Accommodation

Students live in Homestay accommodation with Canadian families. Hosts provide three meals per day which include a packed lunch to take to school. Living in Homestay means that you will have the chance to practice speaking English outside of class time, as well as learn about Canadian culture. Homes are located an average of 25 – 30 minutes (maximum 55 minutes) by public transportation to the school. All host families have been carefully selected and screened by our Homestay Coordinator to ensure our students’ comfort and safety.

Residence accommodation is available for groups only. All students living in residence must be chaperoned by a group leader. Limited options are available. Ask ACCESS for more details.
